ACTIVITIES

The main activities are individual lessons for a wide range of musical instruments, and numerous classes on interesting and useful topics related to music and drama.

Students who are planning for auditions, competitions, overseas studies, etc. can request practical and useful advice from our experienced teaching staff, also outside of lessons and classes.

LESSONS
Individual lessons form the foundation of The MDI's performance training program. Students of all ages (presently from 4 to 65) and all levels of training (from beginners to advanced levels) receive instruction to fit their specific needs from teachers who have demonstrated their commitment to The MDI's principles of artistic integrity, educational quality, and professional behavior. CLASSES
Typical classes are music appreciation courses, music theory, ear training and sight singing, and ensemble participation.

PRACTICE & STUDY
We have already talked about how individual lessons form the foundation of The MDI's performance training program, and the importance of the student's own level of commitment.
