Alice Rosen was born and raised in New York City.

She has studied at the Juilliard School, the Eastman School of Music, and the Shepherd School of Music of Rice University. Her major teachers have included Martha Katz, Roberto Diaz, John Graham, and Heidi Castleman.

Alice has participated in the New York String Orchestra Seminar, Pacific Music Festival, National Orchestral Institute, American Russian Youth Orchestra, and was a Fellowship Recipient at the Aspen Music Festival for three summers.

Ms. Rosen has been a member of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra since 1997.
