Winner of several Performance Skill Competitions of Musical Colleges Instructors, Alla Gorgutsa has rich experience as a harp instructor and Theory of Music teacher.
At the age of 8 she was accepted to State Musical School for Talented Children of Southern Russia Region. Her first harp teacher was famous Marianna Sholokhova - graduate of Moscow Conservatory, a student and follower of Russian national harp school founder Ksenia Erdely.
After leaving Music School Alla Gorgutsa continued her professional education at the State College of Arts in Rostov-on-Don, where she was selected to the famous Harp's Quartet and performed with success. She graduated the College with the excellent grades and Special Honour Diploma. Alla Gorgutsa then took the Harp and Harmony Course at the Rostov State Conservatory name by Rakhmaninov with Professor Natalia Dobretsova - disciple of the famous Professor of St. Peterburg Conservatory Anna Gordzevich.
From 1981 Alla Gorgutsa started her educational work combining it with active performing as a soloist or as a member of different orchestras. Among them Chamber Orchestra (Organ and Chamber Orchestra Music Hall) under guidance of Maestro O.Soldatov, winner of "Taskanini Competition" in Italy, orchestra of Gelendzik Institute of Arts.
Sharing her rich experience with colleagues Alla Gorgutsa wrote several articles about new pedagogical methods published in several Russian musical editions.
In Year 2002 Ms. Gorgutsa was invited to work in Hong Kong as harp instructor and performer.
