To teach the vocal or instrumental student a thorough and systematic approach to musical preparation, and develop the understanding of musical styles and traditions.

The collaboration between soloist and accompanist is an essential element of musical performance preparation. MDI pianists teach the art of accompanying singers and instrumentalists, work with singers and instrumentalists in individual coaching sessions, and accompany artist-teachers and students in rehearsals and performances on all levels of learning and development.

Suitable for students with sufficiently secure musical skills and repertoire acquired through individual instruction for instrument or voice.
