Purpose & Goals:
To give the student of the cello a thorough and systematic approach to training technical skills, developing repertoire, learning how to prepare for performances, and to develop the knowledge and critical thinking required for understanding musical styles and traditions relevant to performing on this instrument.

Content & Activities:
Individual instruction covering the technical skills required for acquiring performance ability on the cello. Progressive study of repertoire suited for the specific abilities and the developing skills of the student. Performance preparation for upcoming performances, examinations, and auditions.

Prerequisites:
There is no pre-requisite for this course, but prior knowledge of any other music subjects is useful. Individual instruction makes it possible to adapt to each students level when starting and during the course of study.

Suitable for all levels and ages from beginner to professional level.

Placement Test:
During first lesson.
Evaluation:
Attendance minimum required 90%
