To give the student of the Church Organ a thorough and systematic approach to training technical skills, developing repertoire, learning how to prepare for performances, and to develop the knowledge and critical thinking required for understanding musical styles and traditions relevant to performing on this instrument.
Content & Activities:
Individual instruction covering the technical skills required for acquiring performance ability on the Piano. Progressive study of repertoire suited for the specific abilities and the developing skills of the student. Performance preparation for upcoming performances, examinations, and auditions.
Prerequisites:
Students of the Church Organ should have well-developed skills on the piano through classical training, also prior knowledge of any other music subjects is useful. Individual instruction makes it possible to adapt to each students level when starting and during the course of study.
Suitable for teenage and adult students from intermediate to professional level.
Placement Test:
During first lesson.

Attendance minimum required 90%

HK$ 750 per Hour
Instrument rental:
Organ available at MDI for lessons, practice, performance, and examinations. HK$ 100 per hour for MDI students. HK$ 150 per hour for non-MDI students.
