To give the student of Trumpet a thorough and systematic approach to training technical skills, developing repertoire, learning how to prepare for performances, and to develop the knowledge and critical thinking required for understanding musical styles and traditions relevant to performing on this instrument.

Individual instruction covering the technical skills required for acquiring performance ability on the Trumpet. Progressive study of repertoire suited for the specific abilities and the developing skills of the student. Performance preparation for upcoming performances, examinations, and auditions.

One or two years of individual instruction on the trumpet preferable. Prior knowledge of any other music subjects will also be useful. Individual instruction makes it possible to adapt to each students level during the course of study.

Suitable for all ages from intermediate to professional level.
