MDI

A cornerstone of The MDI's performance training program is the opportunity to perform works studied during individual lessons in front of a live audience.

In order to develop the performance ability in all its students, The MDI gives students of all ages and all levels of training this opportunity several times within each academic year.

At The MDI, we believe in developing the ability to perform through gradual and repeated exposure to this added challenge in the student's learning process, while also benefiting from the experience and advice of our professional Artist-Teachers.

Additional opportunities occur every year, when The MDI receives requests from other local organizations, including The Hong Kong Arts Festival and the HK Youth Arts Festival, to provide performers for opera and drama productions, musicals, and special events.
