| | | | | Tuition Fees The tuition fee system at The Music & Drama Institute treats all levels of study with the same importance, requiring that the professionalism and teaching ability from all instructors match the learning needs of the students. Therefore, the fee level for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students is the same. The hourly rate for tuition fees varies according to subject and the teacher, usually ranging from HK$ 500 to 1,000 per hour. * Students may choose the duration and frequency of individual lessons allowing for the best possible fit for age, level, and budget. Course fees are due in full per course or semester before classes begin. A refundable deposit of $100 will be required for rooms with electronic access systems. The deposit will be refunded when the card key is been returned to the Reception area on the 16th Floor. 2. Payment must be received within 72 hours (three days) from the time a booking is made with authorized MDI staff. If payment is not received on time, the booking will be cancelled. 3. Payment can made in person by cash or credit card (VISA, Master Card, Diner's Club), by cheque issued to The Music & Drama Institute Ltd. or by direct deposit to bank account No. 474-392214-001. Please call 2526-1499 for further details. 4. The MDI Ltd reserves the right to refuse use of the venues to hirers who have not paid in advance. 5. The MDI Ltd reserves the right to terminate the use of the venue at any time if the activities conducted in the venue are not in accordance with the purpose of the rental agreement. 6. Venue hirers are responsible for normal use of the venue and the equipment therein, including musical instruments. The venue hirer must accept responsibility for damage caused by the venue hirer or other persons brought in to the venue during the rented period. 7. The venue hirer or representatives appointed by the venue hirer hereby waive all rights to make any claim against The Music & Drama Institute or any of it 's staff for equipment and property damage, personal injuries, illness, incapacitation, or death, if this should occur on the premises of the Institute, or in conjunction with activities at the Institute. The Library Deposit is refundable when the student officially leaves The MDI, provided that all library materials borrowed have been returned in good condition. 4. The Library users are responsible for normal use of the library materials. The Library user must accept responsibility for damage caused to the library materials borrowed and pay the full cost of replacement of items, including postage fees, and a Replacement Fee. 5.
