The MDI continues to offer excellent musical experiences for the 2005-2006 Season!
Winner of the First Prize and Gold Medal in one of the most prestigious contests in the world - The Xlth International Schumann Piano Competition in Zwickau, Germany, Russian pianist Temirzhan Yerzhanov, will be performing at MDI on the 20th of April. On Tuesday the 18th April, students of piano will have the opportunity to receive useful advice during a masterclass co-presented by The Music & Drama Institute & The Vienna School of Music & Arts.

REQUIREMENTS
For the masterclass:
1 composition or a section thereof, for piano suitable for the student's current level.
The selection should not exceed 5 minutes when performed.
A photocopy and score must be provided by the candidate.
The performance should be from memory.
Regulations:
Punctuality: Candidates should arrive at least 30 minutes in advance of their scheduled time for the audition or performance. Latecomers or no-shows may have their appointment cancelled.
Cancellations: There are no refunds for cancellations made by the candidate for any reason.
Application Fee: is payable with submission of the application.
Participation Fee: is payable upon receipt of the acceptance letter.
Audit Fee (for non-participants): Space is available on a first come/first serve basis. Payment in advance is strongly recommended due to limited seating.
